Our collection of global tea represents all the traditional tea producing nations with their signature varieties. Over the past 4000 years, the tea plant spread to each of these nations, where it took on a unique form and flavor due to the regional terroir, namely the local soil quality, humidity, altitude, and temperature. Each region also developed specialized methods of processing the tea leaf to obtain a particular taste and form. Shaped by the traditions of their culture, local tea masters are still developing and perfecting regional tea around the world. Explore our collection!
Caffeine naturally occurs in the tea plant, causing all traditional teas to have a naturally occurring amount level of caffeine. Chemical processes can be used to extract most of the caffeine from tea leaves, however we do not carry these processed decaf teas. We do, however, have a variety of herbal teas that are naturally 100% caffeine free. On the other hand, other traditional teas are naturally highly caffeinated. These create a sustained buzz that won't result in the familiar unwanted "crash" that often follows coffee.
This chocolate covered cherry will have you feeling like a kid in a candy store! Think hand-dipped chocolate cherry truffle… sweet, plump, juicy, decadent - without the calories. Its cherry scent and velvety smooth chocolate notes work to enchant, but not overwhelm. Handcrafted from two black teas this gourmet cherry delight is a dessert tea that you can enjoy even for breakfast. The base of black leaf teas from India and China is balanced, deep, and strong enough for milk and sugar, if that's your cuppa.
Black Tea is known to banish fatigue, stimulate mental powers, and raise energy levels. It has been shown to reduce stress hormone levels and acts as a nerve sedative, frequently relieving headaches. Black tea contains a number of vitamins considered essential for maintaining health, including Carotene, a precursor to vitamin A, has antioxidant and protective properties, Vitamin B1 and Panothenic Acid, Vitamin C and Vitamin B6.
Black Tea also contains antioxidants which may help to protect your body from the ravages of aging and environmental effects. Because they are allowed to ferment completely before drying, most black teas are especially rich in those polyphenols which have been shown to be effective against dementia in aging as well as AIDS related dementia. These compounds penetrate the blood brain barrier and have also been found to reduce blood cholesterol levels.
Black tea is known for its antiviral and antibacterial properties. It can be topically applied to cuts, bruises and burns, and is famous for its sunburn relief and has been shown to have a positive effect on preventing tooth decay and gum disease.

Author: Umbreona I decided to sample this because of its name and I must say I am impressed. I was not sure what to expect but it tastes really good. The best way to describe this tea would be to say that it tastes like sweetened dark chocolate brewed over cherry wood. It is almost literally like drinking a dark chocolate covered cherry. It has a VERY mild bitterness and a LOT of excellent flavors. If you like chocolate (come now my fellow ladies, you know you do heehee) and like cherries then I would recommend giving this a try.
I also think this makes a stellar gift for Valentines Day or a great drink for Christmas.
Author: Kristina My husband opened this tea and said it smelled like a good cherry pipe tobacco. Everyone in our family had to have a turn sniffing it. He brewed me a cup and I really love it. It's aptly named, and absolutely delicious.
Author: Nedra Had fixed a tall cup of cherry bomb at work after lunch and it went room temperature before I was able to drink it. Poured it over ice and loved it! Trying to decide if I prefer it hot or cold now.
Author: Nicole Kohler i just ordered this with my last order from the tea spot, and i loved it so much it was gone in a week and i am patiently awaiting my delivery of the pound sized bag that i had to order. this is similar in taste to the boulder breakfast but then you get a subtle kick of cherry in the mix, which i love. it is a bit sweeter than the boulder breakfast (but not too sweet!)
