My go to tea. I like blending this tea with peppermint tea leaves. The taste and smell of the mix transports me to my own personal vacation.

Smells better than it tastes

I love how this smells so it's always a disappointment when I fix a cup and taste heavy grass notes instead of that creamy coconut vanilla that it smells like. I made the mistake of using the hottest setting on my boiler and the green tea taste really punched through (which I didn't care for). I use the oolong setting now so it's tolerable. Would love to see a coconut black tea.

Allowing water to cool for a few minutes after boiling is recommended for this tea, and we are glad that you got better results with that water temperature. Much more coconutty than I had hoped, not being a huge fan of dried coconut flavor (it's too strong), but my husband loves it a lot, so if you like coconut, this is a fantastic tea for you. I like it better after the first steep, as the coconut flavor becomes less pronounced and the flavor of the underlying tea comes to the foreground.
