I received cup, love the size, I did not realize that their warning that the tea was HOT is because the tea cup is really thin, therefore when touching the cup after pouring hot water into it - you need to use the handle or possibly burn your hands - just beware that the tea cup is really thin and is really hot when initially pouring water into the cup.
In June of 2023 I was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer that has metastasized to my bones in my back. They don’t give me many years to live, my oncologist team has asked me to relax more, meditate when I can and “drink more tea” lol . I discovered theteaspot a few months back. Got mine a few days ago, and I love it. Really excellent quality and very well made. Handle is great, and the cover is handy, too. It's not insulated, but keeping the cover on keeps the tea warmer longer. And cover doubles as a holder for used tea bag or the tea infuser. I got the blue one, and it is contrasting white inside. Really classy looking. A bit expensive, but worth it!
I splurged on this mug and I'm so happy I did. I haven't used another mug in my cabinet since I purchased this one. The size is perfect, it is so comfortable to hold, and the filter that comes with it brews incredible tasting tea. I'm starting to eye the other colors now as well, but I do love the dusty rose pink one I have.
We got the Everyday mugs and the Satin mugs recently. We reach for the Everyday mug all the time. It has a great feel in my hands, I love the fitted lid and that it will hold the strainer better once steeping is done. Compared to the Satin mug, I feel the Everyday is less likely to tip over (satin seems a little top heavy for me), and the lid will hold the strainer and any liquid much better than the Satin's little saucer. Hopefully these will get restocked and we will get another set :)
