  • Black Tea is known to banish fatigue, stimulate mental powers, and raise energy levels. It has been shown to reduce stress hormone levels and acts as a nerve sedative, frequently relieving headaches. Black tea contains a number of vitamins considered essential for maintaining health, including Carotene, a precursor to vitamin A, has antioxidant and protective properties, Vitamin B1 and Panothenic Acid, Vitamin C and Vitamin B6.

Black Tea also contains antioxidants which may help to protect your body from the ravages of aging and environmental effects. Because they are allowed to ferment completely before drying, most black teas are especially rich in those polyphenols which have been shown to be effective against dementia in aging as well as AIDS related dementia. These compounds penetrate the blood brain barrier and have also been found to reduce blood cholesterol levels.

Black tea is known for its antiviral and antibacterial properties. It can be topically applied to cuts, bruises and burns, and is famous for its sunburn relief and has been shown to have a positive effect on preventing tooth decay and gum disease.

I received a sample of this tea with my order and I love making me a cup of London Fog on a Sunday morning when I curl up on my chaise to read my book. The aroma is heavenly and it taste so good. I am ordering me a box of sachets. It's a perfect blend.—MRSROCROSS
I now know that I had never truly experienced a cup of Earl Grey until I drank this (Which is saying a lot-I've lived with the British, and experienced the tea tasting pride of all areas of the UK). There is something so right about this tea, and I like to drink it with a *tiny* triangle of lemon. It's nice to find a good Earl tea that I don't feel the need to put milk or sugar in.—Joy
This is a beautiful earl gray tea. Sachets are so convenient!—Sail
I tried a sample of this and it was a little too scented and floral for my taste as I do like a more citrus tasting Earl Grey. However, those who love their florals will probably love this tea. The vanilla flavouring did give the tea a creamy edge to it which gave it an interesting twist.—Tea Drinker
Definitely not your typical Earl Grey, but it's actually really tasty. The vanilla-citrus aroma of the dry tea comes through in a full bodied brew. The tea bags are large enough to make a large mug of tea. My Brit friends might get their panties in a bunch over the name, but they'll love this tea regardless. Can't wait to make it for them!—Corina Knight
I never cared much for Earl Grey - but this is now my favorite tea. It's just slightly better and different than other sellers. And now it comes in sachets! I'm in heaven!—Cheryl Schroeder
