  • Black Tea is known to banish fatigue, stimulate mental powers, and raise energy levels. It has been shown to reduce stress hormone levels and acts as a nerve sedative, frequently relieving headaches. Black tea contains a number of vitamins considered essential for maintaining health, including Carotene, a precursor to vitamin A, has antioxidant and protective properties, Vitamin B1 and Panothenic Acid, Vitamin C and Vitamin B6.

Black Tea also contains antioxidants which may help to protect your body from the ravages of aging and environmental effects. Because they are allowed to ferment completely before drying, most black teas are especially rich in those polyphenols which have been shown to be effective against dementia in aging as well as AIDS related dementia. These compounds penetrate the blood brain barrier and have also been found to reduce blood cholesterol levels.

Black tea is known for its antiviral and antibacterial properties. It can be topically applied to cuts, bruises and burns, and is famous for its sunburn relief and has been shown to have a positive effect on preventing tooth decay and gum disease.

I love ginger; therefore Ginger Peach tea has always been my favorite for years. The Ginger Peach Tea by The Tea Spot is by far my favorite! I drink it year round and is super refreshing iced. Thank you for making such an awesome tea!!—Debbie
I LOVE THIS TEA... pleeeze make it with organic tea!!!!! Then it would be my daily go-to!~—KAPEPDX
The main reason I ordered from here is so that I would be getting whole leaf tea to use in my cups that have diffusers so that the tea would not flow through the holes. The photo showed the tea leaves as large whole leaves, not what I received. —EclecticDiva
Delicious! As others have noted, the ginger flavor is quite strong, while the peach is more subtle. I've only tried it hot, but I think it will also make a lovely iced tea.—SCY
I ordered a sample with my last order. It tastes great. The ginger was more overpowering than the peach, personally. I wish it was fruitier. More peach with a hint of ginger. Maybe I steeped for too long. Will try again. But regardless, will most probably order more once I finish my sample pack. —Marcella
This tea is great if you love ginger (which I do). The "peach" flavor is very subtle, allowing the ginger to shine.—NewTea Junkie
I had a peach tea I loved for years and they discontinued it. After trying many peach teas I tried this one and omigoddess, this is the best ever. Even sharing a big bag with my finicky brother! Make it organic and I am even happier!—dkate
This is one of the nicest peach teas I've ever had. No artificial, nasty peach flavor; just a nice, bright peach flavor I crave in the summer and the ginger is smooth without being too overpowering. I really like to brew this in large batches/pitchers for iced tea.—Evil
This tea is perfectly sweet enough on its own. I drink it year around: during the summer I drink it iced and during the winter I drink it warm to remind me of the summertime. I usually drink green tea, but this black tea is definitely one I will reorder again. —Brenda
As others have stated, this can turn into very strong tasting ginger tea. I didn't like it the first time I had it, but brewed it for a shorter time the second time and enjoyed this tea.—Monica
This tea has a good flavor, not much peach but a very strong and smooth gingery bite. Be careful not to oversteep though as the ginger becomes deadly strong. I have a hard time tasting the actual tea after about 5 minutes of steeping. Other than that it's a great brew!—AbiKadabra
Regardless of brand, ginger peach is my 'go to tea'. This tea doesn't disappoint. I am especially pleased with the ginger--the longer it steeps the more bite it has. Truly a wonderful blend. Our cupboard always has some of this in it. —Glenda
This is definitely the best ginger peach tea blend I have ever had. You can really taste the difference in quality between the the Tea Spot's loose leaf blend vrs. Bigelow's tea bag version.—Jen
If you love a fruity tea with a major kick, then you will love this tea. i love the ginger flavor, it is really intense which i love, but if you are not a fan of ginger then this tea would not be for you. this is a flavor you will not find anywhere else except for here at the tea spot!!! this is one of my favorites!—Nicole Kohler
This is an interesting tea that I had to try. I ordered a sample and now that I have tasted it I can say that it is pretty good. The flavor is rather spicy as you would expect from Ginger and rather Peachy. The black tea enhances the flavors instead of adding itself to them. You literally do not taste the black tea itself. I would say it is like drinking a really good Peach Pie more than drinking tea. So if you want a nice fruity blend to give you some kick, help digestion, and satisfy a sweet tooth without adding tons of calories then this could be ideal. —Umbreona
This tea is good as a sweet summer iced tea!! if flavor is what you're looking for, this tea has it all, not to be guzzled, only sipped sitting in the sun!!—Katherine Jester
This is a tea where less is better. I have a habit of adding just a little more than what is called for when measuring out my loose tea. I did that with this one and I really didn't care for it that much. Then one day I measured out two perfect teaspoons for a 16 oz. cup, and it was absolutely perfect. I also add some lemon to this, as well as some raw honey. Delicious!!—Brigette Sumeraj
