Our collection of global tea represents all the traditional tea producing nations with their signature varieties. Over the past 4000 years, the tea plant spread to each of these nations, where it took on a unique form and flavor due to the regional terroir, namely the local soil quality, humidity, altitude, and temperature. Each region also developed specialized methods of processing the tea leaf to obtain a particular taste and form. Shaped by the traditions of their culture, local tea masters are still developing and perfecting regional tea around the world. Explore our collection!
Caffeine naturally occurs in the tea plant, causing all traditional teas to have a naturally occurring amount level of caffeine. Chemical processes can be used to extract most of the caffeine from tea leaves, however we do not carry these processed decaf teas. We do, however, have a variety of herbal teas that are naturally 100% caffeine free. On the other hand, other traditional teas are naturally highly caffeinated. These create a sustained buzz that won't result in the familiar unwanted "crash" that often follows coffee.
Our Lady Lavender has her roots in Earl Grey tea with a sprinkle of lavender, vanilla, orange peel, & other citruses. One hot cup will whisk you away to a relaxing day at the spa or romantic getaway en Provence. There's a lot more to this tea than bergamot, lavender and black tea. If you enjoy a sweet, well-rounded, and full-bodied Earl Grey, but long for a little lift and a twist, then Lady Lavender may be your gal. Her black tea base provides a nice background that doesn’t attempt to overpower the other flavors. The citrus notes are perfectly tart while the vanilla adds a nice creamy sweetness, and the lavender notes pick it up a notch, awakening your senses. You should also try Lady Lavender on ice. This lady isn't shy in the cold - in fact, you'll likely find that's where she shines.

Black Tea is known to banish fatigue, stimulate mental powers, and raise energy levels. It has been shown to reduce stress hormone levels and acts as a nerve sedative, frequently relieving headaches. Black tea contains a number of vitamins considered essential for maintaining health, including Carotene, a precursor to vitamin A, has antioxidant and protective properties, Vitamin B1 and Panothenic Acid, Vitamin C and Vitamin B6.
Black Tea also contains antioxidants which may help to protect your body from the ravages of aging and environmental effects. Because they are allowed to ferment completely before drying, most black teas are especially rich in those polyphenols which have been shown to be effective against dementia in aging as well as AIDS related dementia. These compounds penetrate the blood brain barrier and have also been found to reduce blood cholesterol levels.
Black tea is known for its antiviral and antibacterial properties. It can be topically applied to cuts, bruises and burns, and is famous for its sunburn relief and has been shown to have a positive effect on preventing tooth decay and gum disease.

Author: Erika M. Schreck What a delicious new tea! Love it! Nice, gentle boost with the black tea, and I love the lavender, bergamot and citrus notes. I'm a regular Bolder Breakfast drinker and will definitely buy more of Lady Lavender. A new favorite.
Author: Shari Tiilikainen This tea is really wonderful! You can really taste the vanilla and citrus notes, but they are subtle enough to not overpower the tea. Definitely my new favorite!
Author: Kristina This one is too strongly perfumey for my taste. I like the flavors, it's just that it's too much. I am using little bits of it to flavor my plain black and green pots of tea, which will work out well.
Author: Ashley Veeck Oh. My. Goodness! This tea is incredible! It's a little strong on the scent out of the bag, but once it was brewed and a little milk and sugar were added, it was heavenly. You can taste the bergamot more than anything else. I normally don't like citrusy or fruity teas, but I'll definitely be ordering a tin of this now that I finished the sample.
Author: Nancy Covington This is my go to tea when I want to kick back and relax. Just inhaling the aroma is soothing, then to sip it, that's pure heaven. Subtle vanilla, lavender, orange and citrus are blended to perfection in this relaxing tea. It's just amazing.
