Herbal Tea Club - Quarterly Box

Fantastic

In my first shipment I received Red rocks which is delicious but I also received ginger which was just plain ginger and peppermint which was just plain peppermint. I'm kind of at a loss at what to do with the second two. I'm sure they'll come up with some sort of blend or something like that but I am new to drinking tea, especially in the loose leaf format. I think that many people who get boxes like this are so sending single ingredient herbs without any kind of guidance on what to do with them. Seems a little bit like filler so I was a little bit disappointed that I spent $40 for only one actually ready to drink tea. I have not decided if I'm going to keep the subscription because of this. Maybe I will give it one more chance to see if I get things that are ready to consume without additional work on trying to figure out how to put them to use so that they don't go to waste

As background, I LOVE TEA. I drink different hot tea all throughout the day and I have for the past few years. I drink mainly herbal tea or green tea, depending on whether or not I want some caffeine.

The herbal tea box is the first quarterly tea subscription that I have ever gotten. So far, I have tried both Detox and Cold Buster. I do not add honey or sugar to my teas and I brewed as specified on the packaging.

Detox has a strong citronella (think bug spray) smell with an interesting taste that did not appeal to me.

Cold Buster also had an interesting taste that did not appeal to me (the ingredients just seem a bit imbalanced and I cannot quite put my finger on it)

Overall, I would not recommend these two specific herbal teas from the quarterly box and I cannot speak to Red Rocks quite yet. I am going to cross my fingers for better luck with the Spring box!

I just got my first box for this subscription at the end of December. In it for winter are Detox, Cold Buster and Red Rocks.

I have just started the Conscious Cleanse, so receiving a nice big bag of loose leaf Detox was fabulous. It's awesome warm, and the sage gives it a great after taste.

Red Rocks has a nice vanilla perfume and is very warming to sip.

Cold Buster is a winter staple, and I will be sure to use it all this season.

All are wonderful teas to have on hand as the weather becomes much colder. This is a hit out of the park!

A sweet friend got us this for a wedding gift and I have been nothing but delighted with each box. Each bag comes with enough tea to truly appreciate the flavor and enjoy it without getting bored or swamped with too much tea. The cards describing each kind and little bonus things they throw in have been awesome. So far Summer has made beautiful hot and iced teas, Fall replenished some of my staples and introduced me to new herbals, and winter just got here but we already really enjoy the inviting smells. I would absolutely buy again and am looking forward to spring!
