Our collection of global tea represents all the traditional tea producing nations with their signature varieties. Over the past 4000 years, the tea plant spread to each of these nations, where it took on a unique form and flavor due to the regional terroir, namely the local soil quality, humidity, altitude, and temperature. Each region also developed specialized methods of processing the tea leaf to obtain a particular taste and form. Shaped by the traditions of their culture, local tea masters are still developing and perfecting regional tea around the world. Explore our collection!
Caffeine naturally occurs in the tea plant, causing all traditional teas to have a naturally occurring amount level of caffeine. Chemical processes can be used to extract most of the caffeine from tea leaves, however we do not carry these processed decaf teas. We do, however, have a variety of herbal teas that are naturally 100% caffeine free. On the other hand, other traditional teas are naturally highly caffeinated. These create a sustained buzz that won't result in the familiar unwanted "crash" that often follows coffee.
Our blend of naturally caffeine–free South African red rooibos, vanilla, and almond bits is an herbal delight! Rooibos is full of antioxidants and healthy minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, and fluoride. It has a wonderfully smooth flavor, and is a great cold buster as well as thirst quencher. It brews into a dark red liquor and has a naturally sweet, earthy scent, reminiscent of pipe–tobacco. You cannot over–steep this tea (the longer the better!) and it is fantastic by itself, or with cream and a bit of sweetener. Red Rocks is the perfect, healthy, all-around herbal tea – a favorite amongst athletes and as mom’s choice for children.

Author: Valerie Full bodied and smooth with overtones of almond. Excellent for any time of day.
Author: Alissa This tea is great for allergies, or whenever you're feeling a touch under the weather - it'll make you feel cozy and less congested.
Author: Martha Kensington The thought of spending valuable tea drinking time on a non-caffeinated drink didn't appeal to me until a co-worker peer pressured me into it. What a treat it turned out to be. I was surprised how sweet it was. And perfect for my busy work environment because I have a habit of oversteeping my tea. Don't have to worry about that with this one! Just like the description states - "the longer the better."
Author: Maria So sweet and creamy in flavor... My favorite night-time tea!
Author: Andrew I had a terrible cold last week. No Nyquil or OTC cold medicine could help. This tea knocked it right out of my system. 5 stars!!
Author: Jill Hammes I have two girls ages 4 and 2 and they like this tea. It is caffeine free so they can drink it anytime. Not to mention the health benefits it provides them! And its great for me to drink before bedtime.
Author: Julia Frost Excellent smooth creamy flavor. Sweet without being too sweet. Perfect evening tea!
Author: Teri Lefever I just wanted to let you know that I LOVE your tea! It is so fresh and flavorful. I gave a tin of the Red Rocks, my favorite, to my daughter-in-law. She is Russian, and drinks only Russian tea that her mother sends her from Moscow. She turns up her nose at teabags. Well. She is going back to Moscow to visit this summer, and plans to take several tins of Red Rocks for gifts for her mother and friends!
Author: Lori Bynes We just returned home to Nashville from vacationing in Williamsburg, VA. While there, we purchased some of your Roches Rouges loose tea in the 100g tin at The Cheese Shop in Old Williamsburg. Fabulous! We have been drinking cups and cups of it morning and evening since we got back home! Best rooibos blend my husband and I have ever tried. Thanks! Now that we know about you, we'll be looking for your products at Whole Foods here in the Nashville area.
Author: Lauren I had previously tried a Rooibos tea before and I did NOT like it at all!! A friend told me to try this tea and I love it! Its good tea, super smooth and not at all bitter even if you double steep :)
Author: Kristina This has quickly become my favorite tea, hands down. I drink tea all day long, and this is most often my choice. It smells very much like sweet pipe tobacco, and tastes very smooth. I don't ever want to run out of this tea.
Author: Cay It smells like "drugstore" black cherrry tobacco. Very manly. However, the taste has a slight cherry kick, but is very mild. A good nighty-nightht tea.
Author: Jonathan Reid I really like this tea. The longer you let it steep the better it gets. Good hot or cold. I agree with the other reviews, it smells a lot like cherry pipe tobacco. It tastes very mellow and smooth, you can definitely taste the vanilla and almonds. If you've never had a rooibos tea this is a good one to try.
Author: Tamara Reeger This may sound crazy, but this reminds me of cream soda - now grant I have Celiac Disease so my taste is slanted. My favorite tea-I brew it, then stick it in the refrigerator for iced tea - yummy.
Author: Linda Povlock I received a sample when I ordered the Tuffy Tea Steeper...so different, so delicious. It is officially added to my list!
Capetown Creme (Makes 2 drinks)
Steep 2 heaping tsp RED ROCKS in boiling water for seven minutes, to make the tea base. While tea is steeping, foam 1/4 cup milk, either with an automatic whisk, or a milk steamer or foamer. Spoon the foamed milk, dividing evenly, into two 10–12 oz mugs. Pour the ready RED ROCKS over the foamed milk in each mug and serve immediately. Sweeten or flavor with vanilla, if desired. A very healthy after–school favorite!
Red Rocks Steaks
NOTE: Vegetarian version uses the glaze on Portobello mushrooms instead of steaks.
INGREDIENTS: 4–6 tenderloin steaks; 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil; 4 shallots, diced fine; 4 Tablespoons honey; 1 teaspoon cinnamon; 1/2 cup white wine; 1 teaspoon vanilla; 1/2 cup orange juice; 2 Tablespoons RED ROCKS (dry leaves, unsteeped, powdered).
PREPARATION: Rapidly brown the steaks on a hot skillet, with the olive oil and shallots, salt and pepper. Cover and let simmer for five minutes. Mix together the honey, cinnamon, white wine, vanilla, orange juice and ground tealeaves, and add to the steaks in the skillet. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove the steaks and cut into diagonal strips. Baste each strip with the sauce. Serve with mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. Excellent with a Cabernet Sauvignon. Serves 4–6
