This tea really does help me sleep! I definitely notice a difference when I don't drink it before bed! The taste is a bit to spicy for me due to the ginger. I have started to mix it with the rosebuds and petal tea to "tone down" the ginger spiciness. That helps. —Tracy
Seems like I can't do without it now. I just love this tea in the evening. It seems to help me sleep. But most of all I love the taste. —Suz
So far, my favorite. It's becoming a part of my bedtime rituals. However, not for the faint of taste! It has a strong bitterness too it, but that's what I love about it! I can sure taste the ginger!—Raven
Both my daughter (5y/o) and myself really liked this as a nighttime tea. We usually settle down with a cup of chamomile, but this is a flavorful, calming alternative. The rose color from the hibiscus is so beautiful and my daughter just loves this "pink tea"! It's sweet enough for her, and the ginger lends just enough kick for me! We enjoyed this tea with just a bit of raw honey. —Mous0116
This tea was a bit of a surprise and certainly much different than any other sleepy time tea I have ever had. I would say it is more of a gentle relaxation then a drowsiness inducing blend. I have added some of the chamomile tea from the tea spot and it is a nice addition.—Nicole
Don't be put off by the strong smell of the valerian when you open the package. The blend of ginger and hibiscus does a very good job of covering up the taste. My first sip was a little disappointing, then I added a splash of lemon and maple syrup. The fresh lemon complements the hibiscus and a little sweetener takes away the sharp taste. Now this is my favorite evening brew. It is wonderfully relaxing and won't keep me awake. This is much better than any of the camomile and peppermint teas I have tried. I will definitely order this again.—Lynn
The first time I had this tea I did not like it. But I found the taste grew on me and every time I get a sore throat- like a cold was coming on- this tea will cure it. Also helps me relax.—Tina
I am happy that I only tried a sample of this one. The smell is unappealing to me and the taste is not great. I did fall asleep after drinking but I didn't notice that it was any sooner than normal. I will keep the remainder and use again if I have trouble sleeping. Certainly preferable to a sleeping pill but not enjoyable enough for me. —Janice
This tea does its job by helping me get relaxed enough to sleep. The hibiscus gives it an odd taste, but the other ingredients sort of balance it out. It's not great, but I prefer it to other valerian teas I've had.—Kkat
The taste was mostly unpleasant to me, which came as a surprise since I already know I like some of the key ingredients. It DID help me sleep, but I think this one just doesn't work for me in the long run...—T.
That I like this infusion. It's a very fine blend that I had to strain through a coffee filter because my tea ball didn't do the job keeping the floaties out of my brew. I have ordered some tea filters and I will give this another shot with the filter. It is a beautiful brew, and very fruity. I'll offer another update after my bags arrive and I can steep another cup.—CJ
Just tried this tea and love it! Drink a cup before bedtime and I've found that it helps me relax,,falls asleep, and stay asleep. —Kathy
Holy Cow!! Only drank one (8 oz.) serving of this tea last night before bed and slept like a BABY!!! :) Highly recommend it for anyone in a high stress environment, really helps you wind down and stay down lol! The taste is pretty good too, slightly spicy and mouth watering at the same time! —Sarah
Works wonders! If you've had Valerian root before you know it is kind of stinky, this isn't so bad, but the smell is still there. I don't care though because when I drink it I sleep all through the night. Works great!!—HC
When I poured the water into the first pot of this tea, I was intrigued because it is blue/purple. I personally like the way it tastes. The ginger strengthens as the tea sits, even if it's no longer steeping. The hibiscus is also noticeable and a pleasant strength. This is my new favorite bedtime tea!—Kristina Wiedenhoeft
