Blender's Notes:

Sweet Melody will put a song in your day and a spring in your step. This caffeine-free blend is bold in flavor and full in body. The organic hibiscus provides a deep-red mouthwatering base, to which the organic ginger root packs a spicy punch. The rose petals soften the edges and the licorice root sweetens the whole deal. These four ingredients combine to create a synergy that is greater than the sum of the individual parts. Loved by kids and adults alike, this herbal tea is wonderful for the whole family - made hot, iced, or cold brewed.

Pink Party Coolers & Pink Party Sparklers
This iced tea cooler & tea cocktail were recently created for the baby girl shower of one of our own. Both drinks were perfectly pink, caffeine-free, and a huge hit at the party!
INGREDIENTS: ½ cup SWEET MELODY tea leaves; 1 gallon water (tap or filtered); 2 TBS Fresh Grated Lemon Zest (~3 lemons); 2 TBS Fresh Grated Ginger Root; 1/4 Cup Agave or Simple Syrup, as desired; 5 bottles of Champagne (for alcoholic tea sparklers), or 4 Liters of Ginger Ale (for non-alcoholic tea sparklers); Ice (for non-alcoholic tea coolers).
PREPARATION: Make 1 gallon of tea by adding the tea leaves to 1 gallon of boiling water in a large pot, steeping for 5-7 minutes. Strain tea leaves out, add sweetener to hot tea (agave or simple syrup), and chill in fridge for at least 3 hours (or overnight). Add lemon zest & ginger root garnishes to the tea, and stir to mix. Serve the chilled tea over ice to make alcohol-free "tea coolers". Or pour the chilled tea into a flute 1/2-filled with Champagne or Ginger Ale for the "tea sparkler" version. Both are divine! Yields: 1 gallon of iced tea (~18 tea coolers) or 2 gallons of cocktails (~36 tea sparklers).

Sweet Melody Spritzer
Tangy hibiscus and sweet licorice pair perfectly with a floral gin, and lemon soda water adds a lovely bubbly sensation.
INGREDIENTS: 1.5 oz gin; 3 oz SWEET MELODY iced tea; 3 oz lemon soda water; ice.
PREPARATION: Prepare 3 ounces of iced SWEET MELODY tea per guest, using 1 TBS tea leaves per serving, boiling water and steeping for 5-7 minutes. Strain tea leaves out, and chill in fridge for at least 3 hours (or overnight). Add all remaining ingredients and pour over ice. Enjoy! Yields: 1 Sweet Melody Spritzer.

This tea is not bad at all. I personally do not like the combination of tart hibiscus and spicy ginger, though. I can understand the appeal, but it's not for me.—Kkat
I think this is a decent enough blend for some people, but I dislike the combination of hibiscus and ginger. I prefer my tart teas to be citrusy, as apposed to spicy. —Jen
I picked up a couple of samples in my recent Tea Spot order, this being one of them. It’s Spicy, sweet, tart & bright, & a very pretty tea to look at. I added a pinch of stevia, & it was a decent evening cup. I’m sure this would really be good as a cold brew!—Terri
