This mug is a favorite of mine. I love the artwork on the outside, it is pretty and so colorful. There is a steeping guide printed on the back of the mug, the font is big enough for my tired "morning eyes" to see the print without my glasses! Such a thoughtful idea! takes the guesswork out of the brew and steep!—Traveler
I am so in love with this combo set! So worth the price. First, I chose the blueberry tuffy. It is a good looking steeper and very functional. The Jasmine Pearls do really well in the tuffy. For the tiniest leaves (ex - rooibos), I suggest using tea bags or finer mesh steeper. The ceramic mug is gorgeous! It looks really good sitting on my desk. After reading some reviews, I was concerned about the mug getting too hot. I have not found this to be a problem at all. It is on the warm side when you first fill with hot water, but never gets to the point of burning or like I'm going to drop it because it's too hot. The silicone lid is fantastic. I don't have to fight with it to get a snug fit or to take on or off. This set would be perfect for a gift and of course for yourself.—LucMac1
I bought a few of these as gifts after buying one for myself. I love the design and the Tuffy Steeper that comes with it. It was very hot at first but after it sat for 15 minutes I could carry it to go. It kept my tea warm for a while and is easy to travel. Thank you for making great quality products :)—Kelly
I received this item today, and I have got to say, wow, it's so nice! It features an attractive yet simple design, and overall seems pretty sturdy. The lid is made of silicone and therefore doesn't become hot after you brew and drink your tea. The stuffy steeper works well, and is easy to clean and store. I did not have any problems with the tea cup being too hot, but then again, I brewed green tea into it, which requires a somewhat cooler brewing temp then black tea. If brewing black tea, just be aware that the cup may be hot for a few minutes after and plan accordingly. I would recommend this set. —Melissa
I love this travel mug so much that I bought two! Works great with my tuffy steepers.—Angie
Very disappointed! I bought this specifically because it was suppose to stay cool. It is still to hot to pick up after the tea has steeped. I think you should remove that claim from the ad.—Misty Tonniges
I love this porcelain mug, definitely my favorite one! I wish there were more designs out though. Only con.—Jourdan Goodreau
I bought this to use at work because I did not like the idea of taking my brewing Mug there. I have to agree with those who say it can still be a bit hot to hold for the first few moments after brewing but it does a rather fair job of keeping the tea in it hot or cold. It is a simple design, easy to clean, easy to use, and produces a very acceptable amount of tea. If you want a good tea mug for work or for some other on-the-go use then this is a good buy. The Tuffy it comes with is awesome and just adds to its value.—Umbreona
Disappointed. I was excited to purchase this mug that is supposed to be cool to the touch, but unfortunstely this is not true. I almost dropped the mug when I picked it up as it was too hot. The Tea Spot should stick to creating great teas (which they do) and stay clear of the mug business.—Debra Fernandez
