Our collection of global tea represents all the traditional tea producing nations with their signature varieties. Over the past 4000 years, the tea plant spread to each of these nations, where it took on a unique form and flavor due to the regional terroir, namely the local soil quality, humidity, altitude, and temperature. Each region also developed specialized methods of processing the tea leaf to obtain a particular taste and form. Shaped by the traditions of their culture, local tea masters are still developing and perfecting regional tea around the world. Explore our collection!
Caffeine naturally occurs in the tea plant, causing all traditional teas to have a naturally occurring amount level of caffeine. Chemical processes can be used to extract most of the caffeine from tea leaves, however we do not carry these processed decaf teas. We do, however, have a variety of herbal teas that are naturally 100% caffeine free. On the other hand, other traditional teas are naturally highly caffeinated. These create a sustained buzz that won't result in the familiar unwanted "crash" that often follows coffee.
White teas are the least processed of all teas. They release the least amount of caffeine of all teas (5-10 milligrams per 8 oz serving) and are the highest in antioxidants. White tea is therefore the perfect meditative aid: it acts as a mild stimulant, without causing insomnia or nervousness. This White Peony tea simultaneously refreshes and quiets. The taste is round and fresh. It makes a refreshing and hearty iced tea, due to its natural sweetness.

Tea infused from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant is the world’s most popular beverage after water. The darker the tea, the more processing it has undergone, and the more processing, the more antioxidants are lost. White teas are made from buds and young leaves, which are steamed or fired, and then dried. The closest thing to fresh tea leaves, white tea retains the highest concentrations of catechin polyphenols, which research shows may help prevent cancer, lower blood cholesterol, and control high blood pressure.

Author: Cinda Excellent, fresh, full leaf white tea. This is a great price for a white tea. I make it iced, so i brew up the same teaspoon of leaves 5 times to make a whole jug. totally refreshing treat!
Author: MariLisa D. My new go-to tea! This is a wonderful, smooth flavored tea. It has enough complexity to make it interesting on the palate and yet it's also wonderfully soothing when you want to unwind at the end of a long day. I also drink it for breakfast. Will definitely buy again!
Author: Umbreona This is a very different white tea than most I am used to. It is not a delicate flavor like most and has a lot more upfront in your face boldness about its taste. It almost reminds me a bit of Oolong but mostly it tastes VERY much like a lighter version of the Dragon Well Green you can buy here.
It could be a nice choice if you do not want the full brunt of a darker green tea but still want more of a green tea type experience.
Not one of my favorite white teas but not a bad tea in general. Mix with lemon or raspberry juice in an Ice Tea for a great flavor.
