In celebration of Earth Day, The Tea Spot is introducing a new line of 100% sustainable, compostable packaging in an effort to make a low-waste impact on the environment. This new iteration of the brand’s best-selling teas is now available through Central Markets and theteaspot.com beginning April 22, Earth Day, with Whole Foods soon after.

 

The Gift That Gives Back: Limited-edition The Tea Spot x charity: water Tumbler Set Will Fuel $100,000 Donation Goal to Bring Clean Water to People in Need - November 2021
For the holiday season, The Tea Spot has partnered with charity: water to create a Limited-edition charity: water Tea Tumbler set that provides clean water – with every set sold – to someone in need. The set includes a 32-ounce travel tumbler with infuser and double-walled insulation to keep tea fresh for hours (hot or cold). The special set also includes a 25+ serving package of “Peach on Earth” oolong tea for use with the bottle. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from each sale will be donated to charity: water with a goal of raising a total of $100,000 to bring clean water to an estimated 2,500 people.

The Tea Spot Launches “Flu Fighter” Herbal Tea Blend - May 2020
The Tea Spot launched its new Flu Fighter tea, a caffeine-free herbal blend that features functional ingredients, including astragalus, honeysuckle, organic licorice root, orange peel, tangerine peel, dandelion root, mulberry leaf, red root and organic ginger. The ingredients in the new Flu Fighter tea were chosen based on a recent medical report, published in Military Medical Research, on the diagnosis and treatment of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), where a combination of herbs and roots were used to support flu-like symptoms.

 

The Tea Spot Donates More Than 55,000 Specialty Tea Sachets to COVID-19 First-Responders in New York, California and Texas - May 2020
The Tea Spot is donating more than 55,000 specialty tea sachets to first responders, doctors and nurses at eight hospitals and clinics in some of the states most impacted by COVID19 in the United States, including New York, California and Texas. As part of their 10% for Wellness initiative, The Tea Spot is donating more than $35,000 (retail value) of tea sachets from its line of specialty teas, including: Organic Spring Dragonwell, Japanese Orchid Sencha, Rise & Chai and Organic Natural Glow White Tea.

 

The Tea Spot Teams-up with Can’d Aid for ‘Do-Goodery’ at Local Colorado Schools - December 2019
This holiday season, The Tea Spot has teamed up with Can’d Aid to show appreciation of teachers and staff and to encourage wellness at two local elementary schools – FM Day Elementary in Denver and Winona Elementary in Loveland, Colo. The Tea Spot will be donating more than 175 Stoneware Ceramic Teapots and more than 175 boxes of pyramid tea sachets, all packed in special tote bags as gifts to teachers and staff. They’ll be donating these tea products alongside Can’d Aid’s bike donations to students at the two schools.

The Tea Spot is now available in The Fresh Market with its line of premium organic and functional specialty teas for grocery and retail. The Tea Spot began the partnership with The Fresh Market earlier this year and is now in all 161 of the company’s grocery stores in 22 states across the United States. In addition, The Tea Spot expanded its operations by working with three UNFI distribution centers on the east coast to meet demand.
