Our new nut-free blend of caffeine–free South African red rooibos, vanilla, and birch bark is an herbal delight! Rooibos is full of antioxidants and healthy minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, and fluoride. It has a wonderfully smooth flavor, and is a great cold buster as well as a thirst quencher. It brews into a dark red colour and has a naturally sweet, earthy scent, reminiscent of pipe–tobacco. You cannot over–steep this tea (the longer the better!) and it is fantastic by itself, or with cream and a bit of sweetener. Red Rocks is the perfect, healthy, all-around herbal tea – a favorite amongst athletes, kids, and moms.

Was better

This was so much better when it had almonds instead of birch bark, the nutty flavor accented the vanilla tones. It is still palatable but not a flavor combination I would buy again.

Used to be great

This used to be my favorite tea. I'm sad that they stopped putting almonds in it. Not sure I will buy again

Thanks for taking the time to review our Red Rocks herbal blend. The almond pieces were substituted with almond flavor over a year ago in an effort to remove allergens from our blending and warehouse space. You can change the flavor and strength of this herbal tea by adding a bit more or a bit less tea per serving, and for using a longer or shorter steeping time. Often a few tries will bring out exactly the flavor that you are are looking for! We hope that you will give this a try. Red Rocks= Cure for a cold rainy day

Good but

This was my favorite tea, hands down, when it had actual almonds instead of bark in it. So so much better! I wish it would go back to that.
