Its earthy taste, reminiscent of sweet, roasted artichokes, is well-rounded, with a slight note of toasted pecans. Clouds and Mist is very structured in its flavor – assertive and smoky in forward body, and develops over time to a softly sweet, buttery finish – making it a perfect green tea for the morning. The curly silver-speckled leaves are harvested in the spring from tender tea buds. Praised as 'green gold' for centuries, it is one of China’s traditional imperial tribute teas. Clouds and Mist takes its name from the seas of mystically shrouded peaks on which this prized green tea is grown, using USDA certified Organic farming methods. It brews well for three to four infusions.

Great tea and saves me money

I used to drink a daily Starbucks emperors cloud tea but the prices kept increasing, the last one was a 40 cents increase! I started looking for other options and found the Tea Spot. They have a delicious Cloud & Mist that is even better than Emperors Cloud. Not only have I saved a lot of money, but I have a wonderful tea to drink! Thank you

Love this stuff

Clouds and Mist is my go-to a couple of times a week to take a break from my usual Gunpowder. It has citrusy notes that I don't want every day but that I sometimes crave or like as a contrast to the smoother Gunpowder. It make it strong, so it tends toward bitter then, which I also like sometimes.

Virtually eliminated my Starbucks purchases

I use to purchase at least one Emperor's Cloud & Mist daily from Starbucks. I switched to the Tea Spot tea because: 1. The taste is about the same. 2. It is organic 3. The sachets are plant derived, not plastic (I was shocked when I read how much plastic is released into hot water by plastic tea bags). 4. I am trying to drink from glass cups/stainless steel more and Starbucks delivers tea in plastic lined paper cups. Kudos to the Tea Spot for nailing this tea and delivering it in a healthier way. Starbucks should take note.
