Bit disappointed

I bought the dragonfly teapot just over a year ago. It is very pretty but the steeping basket is not great. I have found it is not deep enough to allow loose leaf tea room to steep well. When I do use it I put the tea directly in the pot using the basket as a strainer when pouring the tea. This works but makes re-steeping difficult and cleaning is a bit messy.

It's the right size, unique and a beautiful dusty teal blue. Just a perfect teapot!

The Teaspot, I’m grateful

I would prefer to just edit the basis of my previous review( bait and switch…) on the Brown Hobnail teapot but not seeing any way to do so; here’s a 2nd one.

Moreover, this review is to inform all concerned customers that The Teaspot has acknowledged their first response wasn’t the best. And want to resolve the situation in full for me. I wasn’t expecting, but very pleased to see.

We have ‘made up’ as far as I’m concerned. In fact, after finishing this review I will make my first cup from the not so Brown Hobnail Tetsubin.

I give 5 stars ***** for thier customer service and acknowledging the frustration or disappointment that I and probably others have when a product doesn’t match their expectations.

I hope this makes it on the review page. Anyways, thanks much for your reply and honest desire to resolve.

You ARE The Teaspot!!

A nice treat for me

I didn't have a tea pot. I bought the traditional Japanese tea pot. The is kept warm for awhile so I can enjoy more than 1 cup without heating the 2nd one.

Great teapot

I love the looks of this teapot and how easy it is to clean. Although it was listed as brown, it’s closer to black in appearance which isn’t a problem for me.
