Matcha Pancakes

Matcha Pancakes

Saturday morning is the perfect time for a breakfast experiment and on this lazy morning I decided to give my “Basic Pancake” recipe a face-lift. I have been using this recipe for years and every now and then I like to mix it up with a new ingredient and I happened to be inspired to experiment with Matcha this morning.

Matcha Pancakes

The beautiful green color reminds me of a spring day and I wanted to welcome that feeling for a bit longer by turning my pancakes a lovely green color. Along with the many other benefits of Matcha green tea, sometimes it just to make something pretty!
